AWARD AT THE GERMAN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AWARD 2025 FOR CMC

At the Ger­man Land­scape Archi­tec­tu­re Award 2025 cerem­o­ny, we were deligh­ted to recei­ve the award in the cate­go­ry ‘Matu­ri­ty Test — Pro­jects 20 Years and Older’ for our pro­ject Insti­tu­te of Phy­sics at Hum­boldt Uni­ver­si­ty Ber­lin, which was plan­ned and rea­li­sed in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with Ste­fan Tischer and the archi­tects Augus­tin and Frank. The award reco­g­ni­s­es the fore­sight of the pro­ject: plan­ned over 20 years ago, the cli­­ma­­te-adap­t­ed and rege­ne­ra­ti­ve mea­su­res are now more rele­vant than ever and form the basis for legal regu­la­ti­ons rela­ting to rain­wa­ter manage­ment that now app­ly to all pro­jects.

CLIMATE CONCEPT FOR AWO-PRENZLAU FINALISED

GUIDED TOUR AT L52

Joerg Th. Coqui gives a gui­ded tour of the out­door faci­li­ties at Lands­ber­ger Allee 52 in Ber­lin as part of the trai­ning semi­nar for scho­lar­ship hol­ders of the Hein­rich-Böll-Stif­­tung and the Stif­tung Begab­ten­för­de­rung, orga­nis­ed by Zukunfts­fä­hi­ges Thü­rin­gen e.V. and Ber­lin 21 e.V. ‘Spon­ge City Ber­lin’ using the exam­p­le of the L52 faci­li­ties as a respon­se to the con­se­quen­ces of cli­ma­te chan­ge as know­ledge trans­fer in the field of sus­tainable design for admi­nis­tra­ti­ons.

COMPLETED! — CHILDREN! — GO!

An oasis for the recrea­ti­on of child­ren and young peo­p­le at Lake Peetz­see in Grün­hei­de has been com­ple­ted. The two con­s­truc­tion pha­ses of the out­door faci­li­ties of the Chris­­ti­an-Schrei­­ber-Haus with are­as for play and sports, places to retre­at and are­as for natu­re in the land­scape pro­tec­tion area are now open!

AWO WITTSTOCK STAYS COOL!

Cli­ma­te con­cept for care home in Witt­stock com­ple­ted Over the past 12 months, we have work­ed tog­e­ther to prepa­re the cli­ma­te adapt­a­ti­on mea­su­res and sta­ked out some of them in the gar­den at the final event. The rain did­n’t sca­re us away. Now the pro­ject is set to be rea­li­sed!

CMC HONOURED AT GERMAN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AWARD 2025!

Award in the cate­go­ry Matu­ri­ty Exami­na­ti­on — Pro­jects 20 years and older  We were deligh­ted to learn that our joint pro­ject with Ste­fan Tischer and the archi­tects Augus­tin and Frank, the Insti­tu­te of Phy­sics at Hum­boldt Uni­ver­si­ty in Ber­lin, was hono­u­red in the “Matu­ri­ty Exami­na­ti­on — Pro­jects 20 Years and Older” cate­go­ry of the Ger­man Land­scape Archi­tec­tu­re Award 2025.  It is a gre­at honour for us to have recei­ved this award. We hope this will help to ensu­re that the inno­va­ti­ve and, in some cases, rege­ne­ra­ti­ve approa­ches of the Insti­tu­te of Phy­sics’ land­scape archi­tec­tu­re con­ti­nue to beco­me a rea­li­ty in many other pro­jects.
