Property: Berlin-Pankow Client: Christoph Besch Draft author/property planner: kwp-architekten Köhler Wulf Part GmbB Area: 1.200 m2 Status: completed
The client intends to build a new residential building in the courtyard of the property at Schlossallee 5 in Berlin-Pankow. The new building will create 11 new apartments. The building is to be constructed as a free-standing residential building. The ground-floor apartments have entrance areas or a terrace with view-protecting plantings. A lockable garbage enclosure, according to the size specifications of the BSR, is available to residents at the exit. Towards the Panke River, a sufficient area of 120 square meters is provided for children’s play, which is divided into a play lawn, a paved path area and a playground equipment.
The bicycle parking spaces for the front and for the garden house are located between the existing and the new building under canopies. For baby carriages, walkers or wheelchairs, a parking area with a canopy is provided in the entrance area of the garden house. The path system leads to the two barrier-free apartments on the east side of the new building. The path on the west side provides access to all apartments, but is not barrier-free.
