A place to feel good, explore and play.
The stunning landscape forms the heart of our design.
Iza and Emilian have already been on site to prepare the groundwork.
We have been designing innovative, CLIMATE-POSITIVE, CIRCULAR and RESILIENT cities for over 20 years.
Our focus is on building in existing contexts and implementing the PRINCIPLES OF THE SPONGE CITY.
Vibrant spaces that strengthen the COMMUNITY and shape the VEGETATION OF THE FUTURE are the goal of our integrated planning.
A place to feel good, explore and play.

Our revitalisation proposal for the listed hospital estate on Martin-Wehnert-Platz in Zittau pursues a careful redesign of the existing building in three transformation phases, with respect for its historical heritage. The new courtyard, as the heart of the ensemble, forms the central communal space and connects architecture, landscape and city.
The use of ecological materials, sustainable rainwater management and participatory processes are part of the sustainable urban renewal.
The result is a place that preserves history and provides new impetus for urban life.
The fully booked event last week saw Joerg Th. Coqui guide 40 people through the courtyards and along the green façades of the Institute of Physics at Humboldt University in Berlin.
The great interest shown once again demonstrates the continuing relevance of this project, which was completed in 2003 and won the German Landscape Architecture Prize in the category ‘maturity examination’ in 2025.

As part of the InfraSPREE trade congress for water management and technical infrastructure, on 16 October 2025 we will be doing a guided tour of our pilot project on cross-property rainwater management atthe outdoor facilities of the property at Landsberger Allee 52 in Berlin.
Report on the topic of sponge city with our project: the Institute of Physics at Humboldt University Berlin – German Landscape Architecture Prize 2025 (award in the category ‘Maturity Test – Projects 20 Years and Older’).
Everyone is talking about sponge cities… including Christian Sievers on ZDF.
Our project is briefly but clearly visible from minute 20:03 onwards:

At the German Landscape Architecture Award 2025 ceremony, we were delighted to receive the award in the category ‘Maturity Test — Projects 20 Years and Older’ for our project Institute of Physics at Humboldt University Berlin, which was planned and realised in collaboration with Stefan Tischer and the architects Augustin and Frank.
The award recognises the foresight of the project: planned over 20 years ago, the climate-adapted and regenerative measures are now more relevant than ever and form the basis for legal regulations relating to rainwater management that now apply to all projects.
